Manlio F. Coviello holds a Ph.D. in Geophysics (Genoa University) and a Master in Business Administration/MBA (Bocconi University, Milan).
Mr. Coviello is Chief of Natural Resources and Energy, at the Economic Regional Commission for Latin America of the United Nations (UN-ECLAC, Santiago, Chile). In the framework of that position, he provided strategic advisory services to Head of States, Energy Ministers and Presidents of Energy Regulatory Agencies of 19 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.
He is also Assistant Professor of Energy Planning at the Engineering Department of Catholic University of Chile.
Mr. Coviello is currently Special Advisor to the President of the Energy Commission of the Latin American Parliament (Parlatino) and Member of the Coordinating Committee of the UN/IADB programme SE4ALL/Americas
