Katherine Blumberg is the Mexico Lead and Senior Fellow supporting the Clean Air program and city strategies at the ICCT. She has worked with the ICCT since its inception on improved fuel standards and fuel economy and emissions regulatory programs in China, India, Mexico, Brazil and elsewhere in Latin America. She is currently focusing on Mexico, working with both the national government and the Mexico City government to support dramatically cleaner new vehicle standards, accelerated fleet renewal and fuel economy/GHG standards. Ms. Blumberg holds an M.S. in Energy and Resources and an M.S. in Engineering, with a focus on Air Quality, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
