Joisa Dutra is founder and Director of the Center for Studies in Regulation and Infrastructure at Fundação Getulio Vargas, Brazil, from 2010. Prior to founding CERI, Prof. Dutra was Director at the Federal Electricity Regulator (ANEEL) from 2005 to 2009. Graduated in Economics, Prof. Dutra obtained MSc. and PhD degrees at Fundação Getulio Vargas. She is a Professor at FGV since 2001.
She was a Visiting Prof. at Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University in 2010 as well as at University of Queensland, through the Australian Leadership Award Fellowship Program in 2013. With a distinct career regulation economics, Prof. Dutra is member of the Future of Energy Global Future Council at the World Economic Forum.
